Plan To Attend the 2017 PA Farm Show At Start Of New Year

At the start of every year, Pennsylvania hosts the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the nation.  It has around 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 300 commercial exhibits for the public to see, plus competitions to watch, junior rodeo, tractor pulls, tractor square dancing as well as regular square dancing, draft horse pulls, fashion show, quilting, and so much more.

Learning stations can be found throughout the exposition.  Learn more about horses, alpacas, goats, various birds and reptiles, bees, butterflies, etc.  There are also rides for the children.  You find find something for everyone to enjoy.

Come see the largest butter sculpture.

Getting hungry while checking out the shows and exhibits?  No problem.  The food court will have a variety of delicious food made and grown in Pennsylvania for you to purchase.  You might even be able to taste some Pennsylvania Dutch food.

The Pennsylvania Farm Show began back in 1917 as a three day exhibition.  Over the years, it transformed into eight days showing the public the nation's agriculture.  It has become an annual tradition for many.  This is a great opportunity for those not involved in agriculture to learn more about farming and what is involved, while also having fun and enjoying time with friends and family.

The show highlights what Pennsylvania's agriculture industry has to offer.

Come on out January 7th through the 14th, 2017 to the 101st Pennsylvania Farm Show at the Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg, PA.  There is so much to see and do, that you may want to take several days, or even the whole week, to check it all out.
