Horsey Wordless Wednesday - Grazing Under the Super Moon

Horses grazing under the super moon

Earlier this week the super moon was out and I was enjoying the nice weather and the peacefulness at the farm after doing my chores.  The horses were quietly munching on their hay in the paddock.  I couldn't resist taking this picture perfect photo.  That is Pippa looking over at me and King is on the left eating.

And the moon was large enough to give them the extra light they would have needed to find that special morsel

Good morning Brigita. What a lovely and traquil picture. Love it and the horses.

That's quite the shot, Brigita!  One would almost think that's the sun hiding behind the clouds because it's so large and bright!

Ed,

Yes, it was much brighter than it usually is.  I am sure the horses appreciated that in order to find their hay.

Thank you, Lynda!

Horses are my passion and I love nature.  It is so peaceful being in nature, listening to the sounds.

Sheila,

Being out in nature and with the horses helps me destress.

Myrl,

It was much brighter that eveing than it usually is during a full moon.  I couldn't believe how bright and clear this photo came out with the lighting.

Thank you, Mark!

Many of my photos have horses in them.  When I saw the moon with the horses grazing, I saw the perfect photo op.

I'm jealous!  The only night I saw a super moon I didn't have my camera with me.  You got the moon and the horses, too!  Great shot.

Thank you, Patricia!

I usually have my phone with me so that I am able to take shots on the spur of the moment when I don't have my camera, especially in nature and with horses.  You never know what will happen on a moment's notice.
