Eerie and Haunted Places in Pennsylvania

Halloween is just around the corner, bringing tales of horror, ghosts and eerie occurrences. Pennsylvania has many of its own horror stories, haunted houses and various eerie happenings at numerous places within buildings such as colleges, inns, restaurants, etc.) as well as out in the open fields and the vast outdoors (such as battlefields).   They can be found all over the state of Pennsylvania, even in large cities such as Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and places where you would never have thought to find ghostly occurrences.

Would you want to visit one of these places and possibly experience the eerie events and hauntings?

Thanks for showing the video. A local friend of ours is part of a ghostbusters club here and shares some of their local tales with us.

Good morning, Jeff!

I knew there were some haunted places around the world.  (One famous place being Amityville in NY.)  I never knew there were that many haunted places in Pennsylvania, or anywhere else.  I can't imagine sharing a place with a ghost.

Good morning, Lou!

The video about the mystery pyramid in Quakertown, PA, made the hair on the back of my neck rise.  I don't think I want to visit there.

Good morning, Larry!

Locally there is a paranormal investigation team that checks out many of these reported sightings.  Sometimes they come out with proven encounters with the spirits or ghosts, other times they find nothing.

Hannah,

Yes, there are many haunted places in Pennsylvania.  I went on one website and the list was extremely long.  I don't think it included the private residences.
