Preparing for a Trail Ride - Horsey Wordless Wednesday

Earlier this month, my daughter came out to Pennsylvania from the west coast to visit.  Since it had been a number of years since she had ridden, we decided to take a trail ride at one of the hack stables in the Poconos.  It was a gorgeous day for a ride.  We rode through a stream, through woods, up and down inclines, some of which were rocky, enjoying the scenery.  We even trotted a little on the even terrain.  It was a perfect day and we all enjoyed the relaxing ride.

Hello, I did not know you do Heidelberg Township.  I could have someone there in a year, my cousin is thinking about moving.  Off on a trailride this morning with the grandkids, first time for them.

Good morning, Will!

Yes, I do cover that area.  My area expands to a major portion of Eastern PA.  I would be happy to assist your cousin in their relocation.  Enjoy your ride and hope the grandkids enjoy it, too.

Brigitte - that really sounds like a fun day.  It has been some time since I have been on a horse.

That's a neat photo, Brigita.  Is that Pippa in the back?

Kristin,

I know you care about the horses greatly.  You should try to get out and ride.  It is so relaxing.

They definitely were excited about going riding.  AFter the ride my daughter commented about getting into better shape for riding again.

Grant,

If ever you want to relax and enjoy nature, horseback riding is the way to do it.  (Your muscles get a workout, too.)

Thank you, Myrl!

No, that is not Pippa.  We decided to go to a hack stable to ride since I only have one horse right now.  It was nice to ride with my daughter again.
