Agent Sells Her Trainer's 10 Acre Horse Property in Eastern PA

Agent Sells Her Trainer's 10 Acre Horse Property in Eastern Pennsylvania

SOLD! 2 BR Home on 10 Acre Horse Property in Eastern PAThis two bedroom, two bath home on 10 acres in Bangor Area School District of Northampton County, Pennsylvania was recently sold.  This property had brought back such memories when I listed it.

The horse property was originally built and owned by an upper level German equestrienne.  She was my trainer back in the day.  She also helped me buy my first horse as well as helping me break him and train him.

I had moved from the big city to Eastern Pennsylvania because I loved horses.  The city and horses are not a good match.  No where to keep them there.  If there was a place, it was very costly to board with little area to ride.  I had come out to Pennsylvania to visit with my friends and liked the wide open spaces.  Wow!  Open areas to ride!

I met up with my trainer when I was searching for a place to learn about horses and to ride.  She took me under her wing when she realized my passion for horses and that I was determined to learn as much about them as possible.

Our first training sessions were on the lunge line (a long line that the trainer uses to control the horse while the rider concentrates on learning to balance and ride without worries of controlling the horse).  Once I had more confidence and balance, my sessions progressed to where the first part of the lesson started on the lunge line and the second half was on my own to learn to control the horse, which eventually led to my riding sessions being totally off the lunge.

Sometimes, our lessons were to go out trail riding in the fields and along country roads, learning to ride in the wide open spaces.  We had so much fun.

Eventually this led to my trainer helping me in buying my first horse.  He was unbroke and needed training, which she helped me with.  (I'll blog about this adventure at another time.)

In all honesty, this was the second time that I listed and sold the property.  A nice couple bought the SOLD! 10 Acre Horse Property in Eastern PAproperty.  They plan on keeping horses on it.  Wishing them the best on their new home.

Great work Cindy...and a lovely house.  Wish we were closer from NY State.  We have a Warmblood mare 17.1 and the dream is to have her on our home property and see her from nearly every window...grazing and happy!

Such a great story and the fact that you've had the opportunity to sell the home twice is fantastic!

Nicole,

It is nice to know that a job was well done the first time around that I was asked to sell it a second time.
