11 - "Heaven is high and the earth wide.  If you ride 3 feet higher above the ground than other men, you will know what that means."
                                                                      Author Unknown

12 - "He knows when you're happy.  He knows when you're comfortable.  He knows when you're confident, and he ALWAYS knows when you have carrots."
                                                                      Author Unknown

I am not a horse person but they are great animals...How come when someone is a jerk they call him a horse's rear end? When a horse is a jerk, do the horse's call him a man's rear end?...

They all do tend to fit life one way or another.  The Yiddish and the Mexican proverbs are very true.

Gary W.:

The horse is such a noble animal.

I think the saying about being a horse's rear end is self explanatory, but I have never heard anyone call a horse a "human rear end".  At those times, I always think of a 2 x 4 between the eyes.  LOL

I've noticed that Unknown shows up in a lot of places.  He tends to be rather knowledgeable in many areas.  LOL

Think I'll swipe em and send em on to some horse folks here in Kentucky.

There's a lot of truth in those old quotes.

BLR Guy:

I agree that horses are beautiful animals and they certainly have some horse smarts.  Sometimes I think they are smarter than humans.  LOL

Be my guest!  Those that stated the quotes knew what they were talking about when it came to horses.

Brigita, these were all great quotes.. my favorite I read in a friend barn one time and I've never forgotten it.. I'm sure you will understand it too..

I have spent 25 years of my life raising horses..   The rest I just wasted.

I don't think I will ever forgot all of my "25" years raising horses.

Brigita, wasn't it Ronald Reagan who said nothing was better for the inside of a man then the outside of a horse? We are big horse lovers in our family. A Texas thing don't you know.
Posted by Gary Woltal - Associate Broker REALTORĀ® Dallas Ft. Worth (Keller Williams Realty) about 1 year ago

Gary:

I guess Ronald Reagan said it, too.  I'm sure there are many Texans that love horses.
