Here's one for you!

Are we selling the house or the barn?
Not only is this an actual listing photo, it is the MAIN photo for the listing. Must admit that these are nice, large trees. And a nice green lawn with a nice view. Would this explain why this isn't selling.

Nice photo. Did someone actually use this?
Hi Brigita,
I agree that is a very bad picture. Taking good pictures is very important in the marketing process of selling a home.
LOL, Brigita take that photo with you when it expires.
I find it really helps if you actually slow down the car when you snap.
To add to Nick and Trudy on the snow picture in the summer. It is when snowy summer picture has comments like "Better Hurry" "Will Sell Fast"
Just cracks me up.
Darn trees!?!
Brigita, this is a good case for having a wide angle lens so the shooter could get close enough to the house past the trees. Alternatively, several different shots could be taken - one closeup of the house, and a separate one of the acreage...
Nick & Trudy:
Those are good ones. Especially when they have the comment "Won't last long".
Martin:
This is an actual photo on a listing. That's why I thought I'd share it with everyone on AR.
Anthony:
If nothing else, at least take a photo of the home. Noone has any clue what the home looks like.
Keith & Robin:
The funny thing is, this seller just relisted the home with the SAME agent. I wonder if he even saw the photo.
Carolyn:
I think the tree and lawn look nicer than the house.
Nancy:
There is another photo of the home, but not the barn. That might explain why this home has been on the market for over 1 year.
Roberta:
I've seen the house and it's not a nice looking house.
Rob:
I do get a kick out of those photos.
John:
That is a good idea!
Brian:
I usually take many different shots and angles of the home and property. Then before listing it, I go through the photos to see which ones are the best to show the home.
Brandon:
If nothing else, it shows how long the home has been on the market.
Rosario:
The agent did have another photo on the listing, but this was the MAIN photo. How can you sell a home with the main photo not showing the home?
Rick:
It is listed as both residential and a farm. Either way, it would be nice to see what the home looked like. This would explain why it hasn't sold.
