Brigita's Blog: The Power of Active Rain in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and Rural and Horse Properties

The Power of Active Rain has helped me in growing my business, not only in my niche, but also in my home town of Nazareth, PA.  You'd be amazed at who and how many people read the posts here.

In attending networking events, I have had people come up to me and say: "I know you."  I, in turn, have no idea who they are.  They continue "I have read your posts on Active Rain and it is great to finally meet you in person.  I look forward to reading them."  What a good feeling that is.

As many of my readers know, I have a niche that I market to - rural and horse properties and farms.  I also market to the Nazareth, Pennsylvania area, since I have resided in this area for over 30 years and know the area well.  Another person had commented to me that they came to dine at a restaurant in Nazareth and immediately thought of me.  Word is getting out.

Being involved in the horse world, I attend many horse shows and functions.  This past summer at a horse show, I was speaking to a couple of parents and the conversation turned to real estate and horse properties.  (I wonder how that happened.)  At the end of the conversation, I offered my business card to them.  Guess what they said.  "Don't worry about the business card.  You are so easy to find on the internet.  I'll only end up losing the card."  Wow!! 

Not only am I being recognized for my posts, I also have gotten business.  This is how I got one of my listings:

I received a phone call from a lawyer.  He had a horse farmthat he was looking to sell.  The way he found me was that he googled "Lehigh Valley horse farms" and I appeared on page 1.  He then checked out my profile and my posts and liked what he saw.  That is why is decided to call me and list with me.  As you can see, blogging on Active Rain allows the consumers to get to know you as if you were face to face.

I have also been asked to write newsletter articles for the Lehigh Valley Horse Council because the editor liked my posts.

The Power of Active Rain is very helpful in SEO ranking on internet searches.  The real estate agent from Grace Idaho should take a lesson from us and start blogging on Active Rain in order to be found by others.  She may be missing out on a lot of business and referrals by not being found.
