Cat riding a horse

Cats just do the silliest things sometimes!

They can be comfortable just about anywhere can't they?!!!

Shhhh! I'm sleeping!

Brigita, I take it you didn't photoshop that, pretty cool.

That is an actual photograph.  My horse was standing by the barn and my cat jumped up on his back and made herself comfortable.

I can feel myself relaxing just looking at the picture. There's something about the country that makes you stop and take a nice deep breath.

Thanks for sharing

What a sweet horse!  I would think having a cat jump on you would scare some horses.

Hello Brigita,

Thanks for capturing & sharing such a great photo!  Kitty wanted to keep warm!  Your horse must have a gentle spirit!  Loved the picture!

He was a very good horse.  Kittens would run between his feet and climb his tail and he would just stand there, even with flies on him.

These tpe of photo opportunities don't come around too often.

He was even great when I ponied my kids on him when they were toddlers.  But, watch out if you were an experienced rider.  He tested you then.

Brigita, What a fabulous image you captured. At first I did not see the kitty just the beautiful horse, then I read your title and looked again and there was kitty, Terrific,

It took me a while to capture this image.  Everytime I attempted it, either the cat jumped off and my horse walked off, both to greet me.

Hi Brigita, Now this is a darling picture. I have heard of kitties sitting quite happily on horses' back, but I've never actuallly seen it!  ~Marian, the Horse Girl

What a great picture!  Your cat looks all settled in and very comfortable.  Nice post.

It was no easy task to take the photo.  My animals tend to be sociable and would come up to me every time I approached them.

I guess my cat decided that a horse's back was the next best thing to a person's lap.  I know he was nice and warm nestled there.

I don't see the problem. Horses are made to be ridden, and cats have staff. Welcome, Mr. Horsey, to Queen Cat's staff!
